Happy 2012!
It has been a very long time since I have written anything on here, but here I am again. Last year was a very tough year for me. If I had to sum it up in one word, it would be STRESSFUL. I am determined to make different choices to get different results this year (2012! what?!, what?!). On the positive, I realized that I am very fortunate to have such great family and friends supporting me during these tough times. I saw the beginning of this year as a great time to get better perspective and set myself up for a positive 2012.
Here are my resolutions/inspirations for 2012(Part 1):
January:
1. Create a morning routine
2. Finish updating my resume
3. Order Internet/cable
4. Take better care of my health
5. Update my blog once a week
February:
1. Organize open house/housewarming
2. Get new hairstyle
3. Send care package to the Washington Andrade chapter
4. Read book 1
5. Update my blog once a week
March:
1. Spring cleaning of the apartment
2. Learn a new skill
3. Organize my phone book not in my phone
4. Mom’s bday surprise
5. Update my blog once a week
April:
1. Rework my spring wardrobe-add color
2. Read book 2
3. Catch up on correspondence
4. Take a trip to a nearby town
5. Update my blog once a week
May:
1. Take the Frank Loyd Wright walking tour
2. Get my bike on!
3. Dad’s bday surprise
4. Find an apartment
5. Update my blog once a week
June:
1. Revisit budget
2. Go to the Lincoln park zoo- I have never been
3. Read book 3
4. Take the Frank Loyd Wright walking tour
5. Update my blog once a week
Generally, what I want for 2012 is positivity and a better connection to myself, family, friends and my finances.
